Artist Biography
The debut album, 'My Heart and My Head', carefully crafted by Country-Pop/Americana artist, Steffi Jeraldo, is an honest, warm expression of emotion and an earnest yearning for real, universal human connection. Mixing the styles of pop, folk, and classic country, Jeraldo’s sound has been described as golden, pure, and sweet. Music On The Rox said of the new material, “[Jeraldo] has proven to be a force in the music industry […]it is even more evident now that [she] is here to stay."
The lead singles released ahead of the album, including “Cartwheels”, “Wildfire Mind”, “Shotgun”, and “Splinter” are an unerring declaration of Jeraldo’s honest, grounded, and vivid songwriting style. Music Mecca Magazine cited Jeraldo’s voice as being, “innocent, soulful, and strong” and having, “the bright, forward timbre of Lee Ann Womack and Alison Krauss with the rich tonality of Deana Carter." The official music video for “Wildfire Mind” exclusively premiered with Americana Highways and was chosen to be featured by CMT and The Country Network upon its release.
Born and raised in Sweden by immigrant parents from Romania and Chile, Jeraldo’s upbringing was influenced not only by a rich blend of several different cultures, but also a spirit of relentless bravery and strong work ethic. In 2011, Jeraldo was a contestant on Swedish Idol, following her winning of the National Swedish music competition for young artists, Musik Direkt. The next year, Jeraldo decided to make the move abroad to the U.S. and pursue a degree in Songwriting at Berklee College Of Music. While studying in Boston, the city was shaken when tragedy struck in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings. As a response to this, Jeraldo wanted to turn that grief into a place of shelter for herself and all who needed it and wrote, “Song For Boston''. Unexpectedly, Jeraldo and her song were both met with critical acclaim and featured on CNN, The Boston Globe, NBC, and CBS.
Jeraldo headed for Nashville in 2016 to expand her musical family. By reaching out and collaborating with other musicians Jeraldo was not only able to deepen the well of her artistry, but also support and write for and with other artists, such as Amy Lynn, Catie Offerman, Elisabeth Beckwitt and Hadley Kennary. Drawing from her own diverse background and coupled with the experience she learned from others, Jeraldo has proven to be a true chameleon storyteller as she has written songs that range from K-pop to Country.
In the summer of 2021, Jeraldo signed with Lady Savage MGMT & PR and released several successful singles with accompanying visual content leading up to the album's debut. 'My Heart and My Head' is now available to stream/download on all major digital streaming platforms.
